The Rose Garden Transformation

We worked with our customer to design and create a low maintenance space within the garden, but to work around the original rose bushes dotted around the area. 

We agreed on a decorative stone conversion project, with a small wildlife pond and stepping stones, to give that open space feel, but with very low maintenance required. 

We planted lavender and rosemary edges, to allow for an array of scent and colour in spring and summer, and to separate the path edge to the decorative stone. 

A very enjoyable project to design and complete. 

Garden Turfing Transformation

We were called in by our customer, as they had tried to establish a new lawn in the rear garden for some time, but unfortunately it had not taken and left the area water logged and with large areas of non growth. We put together a plan for turfing the area, and how we would achieve the best results, to avoid these previous issues from happening in the future.

We fully removed the old lawn, and 100mm of the original soil (that was full of old building waste), whilst carrying out this stage we unearthed a concrete path running down the garden, which would of caused most of the non growth in this area. We removed this and added drainage holes on the edges to allow rain water to naturally fall away from the lawn centres. 

We then installed new certified topsoil, pre-turf fertiliser and finished with laying the new stadium hard wearing turf. This transformed the customers garden, who can now enjoy the new grass area.

Garden and Pond Landscape Project

This project was to transform a old pond area and create a new space for wildlife, and the customers who required a area to enjoy some much needed relaxation. 

We worked with our customer who had a design in mind, to create a Mediterranean feel, but in keeping with the main thatch roofed property. The customer wanted materials that would last a lifetime, and to use as much as possible from the land. 

We put together a design incorporating a composite decking area over hanging the pond edge, built with composite joist framing and trex decking boards, a new sawn and honed rainbow indian sandstone patio area that ran alongside a new rockery wildlife pond with pebble beach and path to the other side. 

We completed the project by planting the pond with various Wildlife attracting plants, and installing wood posts with rope railings at the end of the patio edge. 

This project was very rewarding, and really showcases what we can achieve no matter what sized garden you have.
