Job Opportunity - Garden and Pond Maintenance Specialist

Based in Bristol

Salary £11.50 - £12.50 per hr (Depending on experience)

Days: Monday,Thursday and Friday* (8:30am to 4:30pm) 

*Days could vary if required. 

All Things Garden and Pond is a local Gardening and Pond maintenance business in Bristol. We carry out a wide range of professional gardening services all year round for, Bristol home owners, landlords and commercial customers, from regular and reliable routine garden maintenance to complete lawn care, hedge trimming and general garden tidying.

We also specialise in a wide range of fish and wildlife pond maintenance services across Bristol, from Water Changes and Filter Cleaning to Complete Pond Cleaning, Pond Liner installations and filter installations

We now have a Part Time (would consider full time for the right candidate) opportunity for someone to join our growing business as a Garden and Pond Maintenance Specialist. Duties will include:

Full Pond Maintenance Cleaning (Fish ponds / Wildlife Ponds)

Pond Filter Maintenance  (Pipe fitting / Filter cleaning / UV lamp replacement)

Pond Liner and Underlay Installations

Coping Stone laying and removal (Cement mixing experience) 

Patio Laying Experience Desirable 

General Garden Work (Lawn Mowing, Hedge Trimming etc)

Planting

Wood Work and Planter Building

What We Need From You:

• Reliable and presentable
• Experience in great customer service
• Current drivers license
• English Speaking 
• The ability to follow direction and be accountable for your own performance
• Working mobile phone

Previous experience in any kind of garden or pond maintenance is desirable and landscaping experience, but not essential as we will provide full onsite training to the successful applicant if required. 

You will need to be ambitious and very willing to put time and effort into the work allocated to you as this role could lead into a full time role in the future, and to always ensure the work is carried out to the highest standards. Being physically fit and quick on your feet will help also, as getting in and out of ponds can be challenging. 

Simply put, we are looking for someone that wants to get their hands dirty and be proud and enjoy what is created and completed with every job, and definitely enjoy being in water 50% of the day.
